About
Mechanic’s Grind is my attempt to give a little bit back to the community that I have taken so much from. Among other things, I’m an amateur mechanic. I work on cars, motorcycles, and small engines. I don’t own $10,000 worth of specialized tools. I have basic drivers and wrenches. I work in my garage. The hood of my car is my workbench. I have always found that photo-tutorials were much better than any manual that you can buy off the shelf and have used many that I have found out there to tackle a problem that otherwise would have gone unsolved. I sincerely hope that you find some of the information on these pages useful.

Wow. You make it look simple by showing the steps clearly. I have a CX650E that will be recieving the same treatment soon. Thanks for the guidance.

The hardest part of engine removal is getting it free after all the bolts are out. That’s a bit of an adventure. Other than that, it really is as easy / procedural as it looks. Let me know how it goes –
